SHIGERU BAN
Shigeru Ban was born in 1957 in Tokyo, Japan. He is a famous Japanese Architect. He started to his education in Southern California Institute of Architecture and later went on to Cooper Union's School of Architecture and graduated in 1984. Later on, he carried on his career working with companies and universities. Most famous part of his works that he uses recycled materials. Such as; paper and cardboard tubes to build up a space. The most important point for him is the materials. The materials that he uses are chosen deliberarately which shows how they aid the building to do so. The Paper Log Houses are one of his famous work which makes him known as an architecture of emergencies.
